Arturo Escalante founded Crete Creations LLC with a philosophy that has guided every project for over 24 years: approach every concrete surface with the care and creativity of an artist, and the precision of a craftsman. The Arturo Escalante Concrete Studio name reflects that identity — this is not a production shop. It's a studio where every floor is treated as a custom project.
Based in Joplin, Missouri, Crete Creations serves clients throughout Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas — a portfolio spanning residential garage floors, one-of-a-kind metallic epoxy pours, elaborate driveway overlay systems, large-scale commercial floors, and custom outdoor concrete work.
What genuinely separates Arturo from most floor coating contractors in the Four State area is depth of product knowledge. Over 24+ years, he has worked extensively with all three major floor coating chemistries — 100% solids epoxy, polyurea, and polyaspartic systems — and knows from hands-on experience where each one performs best.
The standard Crete Creations system — moisture vapor barrier, 100% solids epoxy base coat, 100% full flake broadcast, high-solids polyaspartic topcoat — is the result of 24 years of refining what works. But Arturo doesn't apply it robotically to every floor. When specific conditions call for a different specification, he adjusts. That's what experience looks like.

Beyond garage floors, Arturo's portfolio includes some of the most ambitious decorative concrete work in the Four State region. The 11 driveway overlay systems in the portfolio range from subtle acid-stain textures to elaborate full brick inlay grids that stop traffic on residential streets. The metallic epoxy pours have become signature pieces in restaurants and luxury garages. The custom concrete countertops and water features are entirely one-of-a-kind artisan works.
